First Kidz Website

Raising the next generation of Believers and Servants!  Through a wide variety of missions, music, arts and crafts, discipleship, and just plain fun, our children are learning the fundamentals of our faith while developing a strong spiritual foundation.

First Christian Church in Brookfield offers a wide variety of programming for our children.  The information below is a brief description of each program.  More detailed information is available under the Grow section on the right of this page.

Sunday School

Sunday School meets from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. each Sunday morning for children ages 5 through 5th grade.  Our teachers use the Deep Blue curriculum to teach the children in the Grade School classroom.

Nursery and Toddler

Under the capable leadership of Brandie Mattox, our youngest of children are received into a safe environment filled with love, fun, and joy.  Parents can be assured their children will be nurtured while learning basic steps of faith.  Nursery and toddler care is available for children birth through 4 years of age on Sunday mornings and for additional functions throughout the week.

JAM on Tuesdays!

Our First KIDZ for grades Kindergarten through 5th grade meet each Tuesday after school from 3 to 5 p.m. for JAM (JESUS AND ME) on Tuesdays!  Our Fall 2018 session will run from September 18th through November 6th.

Students are picked up from school and brought to the church for snacks, singing, dancing, crafts and games that remind our young people of the joy that comes by living a life with Jesus.

*Parents may pick their children up in the Fellowship Hall at 5 p.m.

Tree House Worship

We are excited to offer TreeHouse Worship for our Children ages 4 through 4th grade!  Each week we focus on the pastor’s sermon topic in a kid friendly manner.  The children sing worship songs, pray, learn scripture, and learn how to apply the principals of the faith to their lives through games, drama, puppetry, and story telling.

Treehouse Worship

The children meet in the back of the sanctuary immediately following the Children’s Moment during the service.
